Shake up your own signature cocktail from Hotel Alessandra’s new bar that draws guests with its novel combinations of Old-World flavors and fresh takes.

When tasked with creating one of the now-hottest bars in Houston for Hotel Alessandra, design firm Rottet Studio not only had to draw from the hotel’s fresh take on Old-World Europe, but create something that could stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Valencia Group’s other award-winning bar designs. The vaulted white walls and nearly two-story windows looking out over Houston feel like a metropolitan take on the white cities of the Mediterranean, like Andalusia and Santorini.

That dedication to the flavor of southern Europe can be seen in Bardot’s most popular handcrafted cocktails devised by head mixologist Robert Sanchez. Especially the Bardot itself, the purple elixir packing a punch with unique ingredients like crème de violette, fresh lemon juice, and gin – for starters. Re-create this playful cocktail at home to feel like you’re bellied up to Bar Bardot by following the easy steps below.
