To support cancer research during No-Shave November, Valencia Group’s three Court hotels are rolling out cocktails that serve as more than just a drink.
As Valencia Group enters its 5th year supporting No-Shave November – the nationwide campaign where millions embrace their body hair and stop shaving to raise awareness for those cancer victims who cannot – they are doing more than just throwing away the razors. Valencia Group’s Court brand hotels: Lone Star Court in Austin, Cavalry Court in College Station, and the November-opening Texican Court in Irving, will not only have managers participate in the no-shave element, but will serve up specialty cocktails to benefit the cause. Throughout November, 20 percent of all sales on the charitable cocktails such as the Mustache Mule, Long Island Goa-Tea, and the Manly Margarita will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
These themed drinks will be available at all three courts, where you can sip and support in the rustic, open-air Canteen bar and grill in Cavalry Court, or cozied up next to a fire enjoying some live music at Lone Star Court’s Water Trough. You can always make a drink – and a contribution – right from home, too.

Manly Margarita
Ingredients
- 5 oz. Bulleit bourbon
- 5 oz. Cointreau
- 3 oz. margarita mix
Preparation
- Shake all ingredients together.
- Strain into salt-rimmed glass full of ice.
- Adorn with lime wedge and enjoy!
Mustache Mule
Ingredients
- 5 oz. Blue Ice Vodka
- Splash cranberry juice
- Juice of two lime wedges
- Fever-Tree Ginger Beer
Preparation
- Fill copper mug with ice and ingredients.
- Add mustache straw, stir, and sip!
Long Island Goa-Tea
Ingredients
- 75 oz. Seagram’s Vodka
- 75 oz. Seagram’s Gin
- 75 oz. Bacardi Rum
- 75 oz. Dekupyer Triple Sec
- 25 oz. lemon juice
- 25 oz. lime juice
- Coke
Preparation
- Add all ingredients but the Coke into a shaker.
- Add ice and shake vigorously.
- Pour into a glass, add splash of Coke, enjoy!
